Personal:

• Married with two children.
• Joe is a graduate of Seton Hall University, with a degree in political science and history.
• Joe is one of the youngest persons ever elected to the Board of Education in the town in which he grew up.  He was first elected at 22 years old.

• Joe was elected Councilman in the town in which he grew up and again was one of the youngest elected to this post.
• Joe and his wife selected Howell to start their family and moved to Howell in 1998.  He was elected to the Howell Council in 2002, and was most recently elected and inaugurated as Howell’s mayor January 1, 2005.
• Joe is a Senior Vice President and head of the business development unit for employee benefits consulting at Commerce Banc Insurance Services. In his role, Joe leads a sales and marketing department that specializes in health & welfare consulting and brokerage services for employer based benefit programs. Joe also acts as a senior consultant for complex employer based health and welfare plans. Joe has offices in NJ and NY and is on the senior leadership team for the organization.
• Prior to joining Commerce Insurance, Joe spent 14 years with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey as a Senior Account Manager leading their national account business.
